Introduction

The data required for a comprehensive housing quality plan is often spread across a variety of incompatible spreadsheets and databases. Typical examples are energy efficiency ratings, painting schedules, maintenance plans plus gas boiler and electrical servicing contracts. Additional information may be held in housing management systems and stock condition survey reports.

Concept Informatics have developed data integration techniques that can pull all this information together. We have systems that perform in-depth analysis of this data and produce comprehensive housing quality strategies. Working with Aberdeenshire Council we’ve applied our expertise to develop software to produce detailed Delivery Plans as required by the Scottish Housing Quality Standard.

We’re offering a consultancy service during which we’ll discuss the data sources presently available to you and help identify what needs to be done in order to develop a robust Delivery Plan. No cost or obligation on your part is involved at this stage.

We’ll then give you a quotation plus detailed proposals for the integration of these data sources and the development of the Delivery Plan.   • Scoping– identify the scope and quality of your existing data; establish what additional information is required.
  • Data integration – amalgamate disparate sources of data into a single database.
  • Analysis & reporting – detect failures and potential failures under the standard; calculate the number of failures and analyse the reasons for failure; develop cost schedules for work required to bring the stock up to standard; produce data for a robust Standard Delivery Plan.
  • On-going progress measurement and refinement – use the software on an on-going basis to measure your performance in progressively meeting the Standard.
